Arab City Schools is a public school district located in Arab, Alabama. The district comprises four schools: Arab Primary School (Pre-K–2), Arab Elementary School (Grades 3–5), Arab Junior High School (Grades 6–8), and Arab High School (Grades 9–12) . As of 2025, the district serves approximately 2,637 students with an average student-teacher ratio of 17:1 . The student body is composed of 92% White, 4% Hispanic, 1% Black, 1% Asian, 1% American Indian, and 1% of two or more races . The district offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses, career and technical education programs, and support for gifted students . Dr. Johnny Berry serves as the superintendent and was named District Nine Superintendent of the Year in 2024 .
